Who we are!

Maxactive and Gym-in-a-Bag evolved when cousins Nan McKenzie and Gay Kingi sat down to think of how they could assist others to continue enjoying life, keeping fit and healthy at all ages and stages, in a simple and time efficient way. They have both been involved in the fitness industry for many years.

Our motto is
"Never too old to exercise, and its never too late to start!"

Nan is a physical education graduate of Otago University. She has owned and operated a health fitness centre in Tauranga Contours, and now has a home based gym with private clients. She is involved in the cardiac rehabilitation program at Tauranga Hospital. Nan now enjoys triathlon and skiing having been involved in many different sports.
